HOMO is, since 1995, the vehicle for the solo work of Filipe Silva, also a member of Porto-based SOOPA Collective & the Skull Dub ensemble HHY & The Macumbas, among other musical, intermedia & teaching projects.
HOMO explores the potential of sound in its physical & physiological manifestations, namely as a tool for reconfiguring the perception of space-time; the evocative, invocative, mnemonic & devotional power of music; & the frail & uncertain balance between song structures and the innefable, transhuman architecture of Reality, the great Fourth Wall demolisher.

"Resurrected Delfinarium" is HOMO's personal interpretation of the obscure LP "Delfinarium", by Phil Nite, recorded and released in 1982 by commission of Tiergarten Nürnberg, West Germany (at the time, like today, home to one of the largest dolphinariums in Europe).
Like its predecessor, "Resurrected Delfinarium" is composed exclusively from manipulated dolphin sounds.
Unlike its predecessor, it is a Requiem for someone who recently decided to take their own life.
No material from Phil Nite's LP was used.
