HOMO is, since 1995, the vehicle for the solo work of Filipe Silva, also a member of the Porto-based SOOPA Collective & the Skull Dub ensemble HHY & The Macumbas, among other musical, intermedia & teaching projects.
HOMO explores the potential of sound in its physical & physiological manifestations; as a tool for reconfiguring the perception of space-time; the evocative, invocative, mnemonic & devotional potential of music; & the frail & uncertain balance between song structures and the innefable, transhuman architecture of Reality, the great Fourth Wall demolisher.

MUSIC FOR UNION, HOMO's ninth release, follows 2022's RESURRECTED DELFINARIUM (also on Tesla Tapes) and ALTERED EGO (MuteAnt Sounds).
It offers five meditations on the subject of Love Under Will (cf. Aleister Crowley), and is inspired by the Joys and Sorrows of the 45-year-long marriage between the Poet-Painter William Blake and Catherine Sophia Boucher, hoping for the constant renewal of such Joys and Sorrows, whenever possible.
It is released on August 18, 2023, their 241st Wedding Anniversary.
